Best Times For Phone Sex Work?

I’m often asked, “What are the best times for phone sex operators to be available — to make the most money?” This is asked not only by those considering starting phone sex work, but by those already in the field who want to make more money.

There is no one-time-suits-all answer — because there’s no one demographic for all callers. Even when the demographics or sexual fantasies are the same, each individual remains an individual. And whether or not a man is married, he does have family, friends, a job — things that get in the way of his personal phone play time.

…But there are some generalities I’ve observed (and profited from) which can help you in terms of maximizing your available times.

(These generalities may also help you if you are starting out as a PSO, or creating a new character, and you’re trying to select a niche based on when you’ll be available.)

Note: These generalities are based on my personal experiences as a professional phone sex operator and as an escort; however, they are generalities. If such information helps you, great. But I make no promises. Also, these are simplifications — and they are by no means meant to reduce human beings or their appetites to some degrading idea of “typical.” But phone sex is a business, and so consider this some free information about phone sex markets.

General Tip On Times & Phone Sex Client Demographics:

* Men get morning wood; early morning calls for single men, those traveling, and the like are often quite popular. In the biz, these are often called “wake up services.”

* Submissive male callers, those into financial domination and ignore lines, etc., tend to be positions of power. This means they have private offices, not cubicles, and they do tend to call weekdays while at work. Dinner times, evenings and weekends are for family (and, often, more work, time with clients, etc.), however, very late at night and wee hours of the morning are not unusual. And they quite often travel, so their schedules may include different time zones.

* Dominant male callers tend not to be in positions of power at work; blue collar jobs and low-entry white collar workers with less privacy at work. Typically, this means calls after work — but don’t forget, they may work other shifts besides 9 to 5 (as well as being in a different time one from you).

* Callers seeking companionship, i.e., those who are interested in more than getting off quickly, tend to call in the evenings, usually between dinner time and bedtime. These tend to be divorced men, single dads, widowers, those who travel a lot, shy guys, geeks and virginal types who want to be seduced slowly etc.

* Quick jack-off callers typically call before they’re going to bed. However, they may be going to bed after the bar has closed, after playing video games for hours, after a date that didn’t end with “getting lucky,” and so it may be quite late at night. A number of these callers also like to call during the daytime on Saturdays and Sundays.

Remember: There will be cross-over clients. The companion-seeking submissive, for example.

Tip: A savvy professional PSO will pick up on clues from her clients. Trust that more than my anecdotal observations.

Remember: Even if an individual man falls into my observational “types,” his family obligations, the shift he works, etc. may override these generalities.

Tip: A good PSO knows she may be asked to be flexible in making herself available. If she can’t; she can’t. But suggesting callers plan ahead and schedule appointments likely can’t hurt.
