In Email Marketing Vs. Social Media, email is pronounced the clear winner. This is good news. And not only, as Gracie noted, because adult personalities, products and services are generally unwelcome at social media sites (and so we need not feel we are really missing any of the “hot” social action). The other good news is that email marketing (i.e. building a newsletter or email contact list) requires a lot less work than social media marketing. With social sites, you not only have to create and maintain a profile or page, but need to work to generate followers in the first place. Email marketing is much, much easier. Not only on your own website, but via phone sex platform messaging systems too.

Another area phone sex operators are thwarted in their marketing efforts is the inability, again, for adult services and sites to use pay per click (PPC) ad services, such as Google’s AdWords. But as this infographic featuring Nielsen research shows, PPC only accounts for 6% of total clicks from search engines. That means 94% of clicks are obtained by natural search results — and those, again, you can get just by having your own (well-run) website and phone sex listings.

So far, the exclusion of X-rated isn’t hurting us.
