Changes At NiteFlirt

NiteFlirt has made some changes. Most of them are cosmetic, but a few of them are useful:

* In the upper right corner of any page is an account widget which allows you to change your availability, update your phone number, see your balance, check for new mail, and has links to “My Customers” and “My Listings.”

* The feedback link has been moved to its own tab to make it easier for customers to check out your feedback and ratings.

The biggest changes to note and address in terms of making sure your profiles and listings are looking their best are:

* Listing photos are now larger; an increase to 95 x 95 pixels.

* Listing width (page width) has been limited so that customers can see it all at once, even if they’re using a laptop or tablet. This means all images, tables, background, etc. must be 775 pixels wide or less.

* HTML changes mean that stat counter and other codes may not work — however, NiteFlirt has made it easier for you to note and address the problems.

First, when you edit any listing that has improper code, you will be made aware of it and prompted to use code that is acceptable — along with this proper code, there is a preview to verify how it will look before you accept (or deny and edit) the code. Amazingly, this code correction actually corrects stats counters such as StatCounter, making it quite easy.

Unfortunately, the stat code will no longer show you refers, so no more tracking ads and links placed.

Also, this code correction system does not work well in terms of profile edits; you’ll need to made a change in order for the system to actually read, verify and, if needed, correct the code.

As to be expected, there are some quirks and glitches with the changes; any problems found should be sent to NiteFlirt Customer Service. And patience is recommended.

I still can’t call any of the numbers on NF or top up my account from the UK. And the subject of FANTASIES that PSOs are allowed to engage in, is still controlled by the NF Thought Police, applying a TOS which is practically vanilla (by my standards anyway!).

To be fair, and credit where it’s due NF credited my account with $25 following a protracted battle with my CC’s bank for refusing to process the payments or deal with the issue that blocked them. Now I’ve got £25 I don’t know what to do with.

Sorry to hear of the troubles at NF. Have you contacted customer support regarding your issues?

Regarding that 25$, you ought to be able to find someone selling MP3s, photos, custom erotica, etc.

Ha, you might think so (custom mp3s at NF). If you love cuckolding, BBC, wallet rape or mature hypnotic mistresses, NF is heaven for off-the-shelf recordings and live calls.

But NF are not villains, they’ve been honest merchants for years, so there’s no reason why payments to them should be blocked by any bank.

NF has a lot of other listings too, but if your fetish is forbidden by TOS you’ll be out of luck…

They are not villains though and while I cannot really the issue with your bank, perhaps another bank will not have them on their no-no list? I’m not saying you need to go as far as to switch banks, but perhaps find one for such entertainment purchases ;)

An extremely pertinent point. I could switch credit cards without too much hassle, but I’ve yet to find a link to their blocking policies and latest blacklists that customers can access when they’re choosing a card. (I know merchant names and trading names are often different, but access to this info would help.)

Given that people’s businesses and livelihoods are riding on this, the banks should be required to disclose their blacklists.

BTW, any PSOs looking for a ‘home’ where they’re neither pressured nor restricted by any boss or TOS, could do worse than take a look at http://adultwork.co.uk
