Help With Games, Assignments & Tasks For Phone Sex Operators

As I mentioned, I’m working on a number of whitepapers to help with your indie PSO business. The latest release is about creating games, assignments, and tasks for phone sex callers and clients.

I do not offer scripts, neither for phone sex calls nor items to sell — nor any prepackaged “canned” services of any kind. That’s not what your clients want, so such things are not of value to you. However, this list of games & assignment/task suggestions is designed to give you various forms of online sexual play which you can use and profit from by selling in Pay To Views (PTVs), Goodies, and via stores on most other phone sex platforms.

This whitepaper includes an honest description of what separates games and tasks from traditional pic, video, and audio sales; as well as covers the benefits of such games and how to maximize them for profits (immediate and long-term, via bonding with clients). And, of course, there are numerous suggestions for types of games to play, assignments and tasks to offer.

Buy from Phone Sex Secrets through Niteflirt.com

The paper is over 4,000 words, includes a few resource links, and is in an easy to read PDF format.

This should be all the information and inspiration you need to create your own profitable phone sex operator games for PTVs, Goodies, and even calls. However, if you feel you need more assistance, feel free to contact me regarding your own personal consultation session.

More phone sex biz whitepapers can be found here.

In Case You Missed It… Phone Sex Secrets News

Been especially busy with PSO consultation work, interviews, working on phone sex whitepapers, and a revamp of both that NF page as well as some things here at the site… So much to do! But wanted to hit a few key points of Phone Sex Secrets news…

I will be updating the consultation page soon, not only to better reflect all the services I offer to PSOs, but, in case you missed the tweeted announcement, I will be increasing my consultation rates by the end of May. This due to reasons I stated in my recent interview at Webcam Startup:

This is an interesting time for me. As the demand for my PSO consulting services grows, I am definitely feeling the push and pull effect…

The simple math here is that there only one of me. So for every consulting session I have, every bit of work I do wearing that hat, I am unable to entertain my phone sex callers. Since I certainly make more with my actual phone sex services, I am now in the place where I am being forced to decide just what needs to give…

The truth is, as a consultant, I could be charging, easily, up to 10 times what I currently charge. I have resisted this so that I could be a more affordable resource. But, as I have been in this position for nearly a year now, soon I am going to have to take my own advice about stress and self-care and make a decision.

Taking one’s own advice can be difficult. *sigh* As for how much the rate will increase, well, I’m not sure… It won’t be 10 times the current rate; but I’ve given myself a deadline & will make the tough call soon.

Anyway, if you want to hire me — and lock in the current rates — you can purchase several hours of my time now. (To book more than a one hour session, simply use the drop-down box to see multiple hour offerings.)

Counsultation Chat By The Hour

Speaking of interviews…

I was featured in a three-part series at YNOT Cams. Since this was three articles, it’s much more in-depth than some of the other articles about phone sex: part one, part two, & part three. Also quite informative if you are a camgirl or another type of sex worker and are thinking of adding phone sex to your service offerings — or are interested in making a complete switch. (If I do say so myself!)

And, there’s another project in the works with a rather major media company — I’m dying to talk about it, but *knocks wood* the time is not right yet. But soon, I hope!

I will likely announce each of the whitepapers as I publish them, but wanted to let you know what’s in the works… I am nearly finished with the one on creating games, assignments, and tasks for phone sex callers and clients; so that should arrive soon. Also, the long-anticipated paper on using social media and blogging to market your phone sex business. So much going on, so stay tuned!

Phone Sex Caller Survey Results To Help You Work Your Phone Sex Business

Over the past five years, on & off, I’ve run a survey for phone sex callers. Compiling the data was no easy feat as one after another of the free survey sites either departed or no longer allowed free surveys. So, while the questions and the answer options remained the same, I needed to do some work before I could present the results of the nearly 5,000 responses. (To be precise, there were 4,773 survey participants).

First, I meticulously ran the numbers of each survey. Then, I had to compare the results to see if there were any trends or insights to be gained from each set of results; there was no statistically significant difference. Next, I combined all the survey result data, rendered charts & graphs — and compiled all the result findings into a whitepaper available for purchase via NiteFlirt.

The results of my analysis include, where notable, include any comments from survey participants who went that extra step to email their thoughts. (Any such comments are shared under anonymity and are provided as anecdotal support or clarification.)

Results include:

  • What turns potential callers on — and off — in profiles and phone sex listings
  • Where callers start looking for independent PSOs
  • How important are photos — and what’s important about them
  • When and why phone sex operator blogs, websites, social media, etc. are important

Also included: break down by age demographics.

Disclaimers: Survey participants were self-described paying phone sex clients who volunteered to participate in an online survey. In other words, it likely does not have a representative sample. For example, an online survey certainly is affected by the lack of participation in populations which are less likely to have internet access.

However, to my knowledge, this is the only survey which provides insights into some of the demographics, concerns, turn-ons & turn-offs, of paying phone sex callers. It is provided as helpful information in terms of marketing your phone sex business. It is available as PDF containing 3,300+ words, 26 pages, with 12 graphs. You can buy it here. The whitepaper is absolutely under copyright; there is no sharing, posting, publication, or other transmission of this report or its findings without my express written permission.

Once you read the phone sex survey whitepaper, if there’s something specific in the results you are looking for help with, if you’d like more detailed information about your specific target audience demographic, feel free to schedule your personal phone sex business consultation.

Call For Interviews: Phone Sex Operators With Disabilities

I’ve been contacted by a reporter for an online publication (with a million monthly readers) who is interested in doing a news story about people with disabilities working as phone sex operators. He is looking to interview PSOs who have physical or mental disabilities for this article.

Because I not only have excellent oral skills, but have rather astonishing auditory skills which help me read between both spoken and unspoken lines, I talked with the writer on the telephone. My own interview assessment, and some research, assures me of the following:

  • He & his publication are legitimate
  • This author’s intent is to be respectful regarding disability issues.
  • This author is sex positive, sensitive to sex workers issues; this will not be a sex worker bashing piece.
  • He will not out anyone by real name or professional name without consent.

I know many of you have or have had some physical or mental health issues, however temporary, and therefore have entered this industry because of the flexibility it offers in terms of scheduling, the benefits of no transportation needed, comfort of working from home, etc.. But I also know many of you do not wish to make your personal health situation(s) public, or to out your phone sex character(s) as having any health issues. Which is why your ability to take part as an anonymous source is so important.

Yet, unless you are willing to share and make public your professional phone sex operator name, this interview is not exactly a promotional opportunity for your phone sex business. (Note: If you are already out about your phone sex work and disability, by all means, use this press to promote yourself!)

However, it is important to note that even as an anonymous source, this is a chance to educate others and to promote sex work in a positive manner. I think this is very important, not only to perhaps help those with disabilities to discover that they can create economic safety and security for themselves via phone sex work, but for the public at large to learn that sex work is work — and respectable work at that.

Interviews can be on the phone, via Skype, or via email, depending upon your needs.

If you are interested in sharing your story, please email me directly at PhonSexSecrets@gmail.com putting “PSOs with Disabilities” in the subject line (I thank you in advance for the courtesy of doing that — it helps me keep on top of things!) and I will put interview candidates in touch with the reporter.

While there is no immediate deadline, obviously the sooner you make contact the better.

Part Two Of The Exclusive SinCats Phone Sex Site Interview

Continuing the Sin Cats interview with Mary Bennet. (Bennet is in charge of Social Media Marketing and Promotions as well as a Support Rep for Affiliates and Partners at SinCats.) In the first part, we covered the basic overview of the new phone sex site (which also allows camgirls, indie clip makers, and more).

features_sincats

Included in this post are some screenshots that Mary has provided. They demonstrate the various features that are available to performers, via their admin panel. As always, click to see larger versions.

Now we get into more detail about the new site…

What are the fees for this site, both for callers & operators?

Our website is free for both callers and operators.

Why do we offer our services for FREE and allow customer and operators the ability to use our platform and keep 100% of the profits? There are a few ways that we make money — after all, it is a needed to keep the site running.

We make money via the following options:

1. We offer paid ad space. This is displayed on the left side of our website and the costs are very reasonable. Companies or individuals that wish to display a paid advertisement can contact us for details and their ad will appear on every webpage located on the left sidebar.

2. We offer upgrade options. All accounts are 100% free and include access to everything you need to succeed as an independent performer. However, you can upgrade your account by ordering highlighted listings, featured listings, your own domain name and WP blog, newsletter feature, unlimited friend requests and friend accepts, unlimited call codes, promotional services, and higher ranking (upgraded paid accounts are listed above all free accounts).

Can you give me some ballpark price ranges on such things as advertising, etc.?

We have two ad placement zones and our pricing is based on our traffic. As our traffic is low at the moment, we are not promoting our ads zones; however within the next couple months they will be available.

Ad zone 1: This is a 250 width by 150 height static ad placement that appears on the left side of all pages (except the performer profile pages). You can see an example of this on our home page at www.sincats.com listed under the ‘new performers’ sidebar widget. We display a total of 6 ads on the sidebar and they currently sell for $95/month. (*This price is subject to change by the end of this year.) We do not rotate ad spots, so once they are full we cannot accept new advertisers until a new spot becomes available.

As zone 2: This is a 120 width by 60 height static ad placement that appears on all free performer profile pages.  Paid performers have ‘ad free’ profiles. We display a total of 6 ads on all free performer profile pages and they currently sell for $50/month. (*This price is subject to change by the end of this year.) As with the left sidebar ads, we do not rotate ad spots, so once they are full we cannot accept new advertisers until a new spot becomes available.

When you say, “Paid performers have ‘ad free’ profiles,” you mean those who pay for the upgraded accounts, at the $9.95 per month, correct?

Yes. All initial registrations by default are free and therefore subject to display ads within the free profile. However, upon upgrading, the ads instantly disappear. This is another benefit to having a premium or upgraded account on SinCats.

A fully upgraded account on SinCats costs $9.95/month. You can upgrade at anytime from your admin section and the changes occur instantly.

Callers also have similar features when they upgrade their acccount. Callers can register for free and gain access to virtually every feature on our website. However there are some limitations; free customers cannot create jobs (we have a job board that displays recent job postings), free customers have limitations on the amount of messages they can send/receive and the amount of call codes they can use.  Also the customer’s status is listed as ‘free’ and this is displayed on the customer’s profile page.

However, none of these upgrades are needed to use our platform — or make serious money as a performer. Money that you don’t need to wait for, money that is received in the manner that you wish to receive it: Direct to you from the customer.

sin cats performer profile optionsSpeaking of money, I see that operators are allowed to use Amazon and the like as payment; aren’t you concerned about the issues involved here, namely that some of those options are either not merchant accounts &/or have expressly forbidden adult content/business?

We have a wide range of options that operators can choose from when accepting payment from a customer. It is important to note that we do not accept payment on behalf of the customer. Instead the payment goes directly from the customer to the performer.

Also there is no direct correlation between the chosen payment method and adult services. Amazon Wish Lists have been used for years as a way to receive items in exchange for services.

There are so many ways to receive payment that do not include the risk involved in a direct merchant account: Account Now, Cash, Money Order, Phone Card, Western Union, Chase, Dwolla, NetSpend, Ritani, Wish Pot, Bitcoin, Check, Money Gram, Zappos, and trade (or other).

The option to accept payment by ‘trade’ could mean that a customer has a particular skill set that you need and are willing to provide your services in exchange for that skillset. This might mean website design, website development, paying for an ad placement to promote the performer’s profile on high traffic phone sex websites, legal assistance, etc.

Adult merchant accounts are a good option and this is why we have listed credit card as one of the possible choices. There are many performers that have their own adult merchant account and can use this account to process customer’s credit cards. However for the average (and especially new performer), merchant accounts are not an option that is easy to obtain.

Here’s some of the reasons why…

Merchant accounts are risky. Did you know that a customer can order services online, then at any time within 3 – 6 months that customer can contact his bank and report the transaction as fraud? Even if the transaction was 100% valid and you have records (IP address, email, phone number, etc.) chances are you will still lose that sale. In addition to that you will be charged a $35.00 fee for every chargeback that is filed. You may make $5,000.00 in one month, then lose $7,500.00 the next month due to chargebacks. And any performer that has worked in this industry using their own merchant account knows that the banks always side with the customer and chargeback disputes are virtually impossible to win. Virtually all pay per minute phone sex and webcam sites have an issue with this and often have to adjust the performer’s payment based on the chargeback. It is not the fault of the company, but rather the difficult position that banks place ‘high risk’ adult companies in regards to chargebacks.

Merchant accounts are expensive. An adult merchant account will cost you $1,000 a year for Visa and MasterCard registration. You also need to show proof of a valid business license and business address. In addition to their there are tons of small fees (transaction fees, gateway fees, etc).

Also if you process credit cards on your own website you are required to be PCI compliant. This means that you have to provide all of the nessacry means to protect the customer’s credit card details. If there is a breach and this information is exposed you can be fined over $100,000. If you think it is easy to secure this data think about Target and how they were recently hacked and thousands of customer’s credit card details were exposed.

An alternative…

In comparison, let’s consider that you use an alternative payment option. For example Bitcoin. You open a merchant Bitcoin account (it is free on most websites and easy to setup). You then provide the customer with a Bitcoin payment link to order your services. Once the payment is completed you will receive a notification and you can proceed to provide your services knowing that this money will not be charged back and you will receive virtually 100% of it as Bitcoin charges very little processing fees.

Or perhaps you think a little more outside the box and offer your services in exchange for minutes added to your pre-paid phone. Often performers use a pre-paid phone as this provides a layer of anonymity and security. In this scenario you provide the customer with a link to the pre-paid card you require to load your phone. The customer purchases the card, sends you the code and you can add the minutes instantly to your account. No risk of chargeback.

Another scenario might be that you need more traffic in order to bring in more customers and sales. You can offer the customer an option to pay for ad placement in exchange for services. There are tons or reputable services that offer this, including Juicyads, PhoneSexCentral, etc. [See here & here.] Once the ad is live, you can proceed to engage with the customer and provide your services as agreed.

Once you start to consider all of the possibilities it can be rather exciting. There are so many ways to receive payment and remove risk of chargebacks and payment delays.

Are there any verification requirements? Specifically, do you verify legal adult age/status? Are operators required to be verified in any way?

All participants on our network are required to be 18 years or older. We do require verification on a case-by-case basis. If we believe that a performer may be underage we flag the account (suspending public listing) and send a message to require proper documentation.

We have been counseled on this through our legal services and work closely with our attorney to ensure that all practices are legal. Since performers on our network do not work for us, but instead use our platform to network and promote themselves, we are not obligated to require age verification for every account. We are required to police our network and ensure that all content is legal, and we do this 24/7.

For those of you familiar with PhoneSexCentral (which is a major phone sex listing website) you will know that you can create an account and promote your website without the need to send in sensitive details such as a photo ID, social security card, banking account information, etc. Our website works in a similar manner, however it has far more advanced social networking features and is based on recent technology.

I believe you are using CCBill for the upgraded account, correct? If so, this would provide adult verification, yes?

We use Epoch and CCBill. Epoch provides an excellent direct mode payment gateway and a slightly higher success rate of payment. CCBill is used as a fall-back processor. However both provide age verification.

We are also considering additional measures to prevent minors from gaining access to our website. Monitoring site activity and relying on community support are also tools that we will use in our efforts to prevent unauthorized access.

Of the 200+ members, do you know what percent are operators, what percent are callers/buyers?

The ration is about 50/50 at the moment. We are trying to promote the site to both account types so that the member base (customer and performers) grow at a steady and natural level.

Thanks, Mary. I myself am going to create a performer account & play around a bit… Likely, much more to come on this new option in phone sex & cam promotion called Sincats.

The Exclusive Sin Cats Interview (Part 1)

sin-cats sincats phonesex cam dirty talkSin Cats is a relatively new phone sex site. It’s not truly a platform site, which means it is neither collecting payments nor taking a cut of transactions, but it is far more than a marketing or advertising opportunity as it does offer the option to safely and anonymously connect calls and chat. Intrigued, I sat down to discuss with Mary Bennet, who is in charge of Social Media Marketing and Promotions for Sin Cats. Here, in this first part of my interview, Bennet gives us an overview of the new site. (In part two, we get down into the real nitty-gritty – so stay tuned!)

Hi Mary, please give us a general company/site overview.

Sin Cats is an adult network in which people from all over the world can make friends, connect, send messages, share images, videos, voice files and have fun. Our website is new (launched officially on July, 11 2015). However, prior to this we had been in the adult industry for over 12 years, and have experience in membership sites, webcam, phone sex, web design, hosting and social networking. We spent approximately 6 months in the development stage before launching Sin Cats.

Our website is an open platform for adults that wish to promote themselves and network with others. This does not simply relate to phone sex, but includes webcam, media sales (pictures, videos, audio), modeling and even professional services such as content writing, website promotion, website design, etc.

Currently our staff consists of two full-time developers, a marketing director, and two customer service reps.

Open registration is now taking place and we are working with several websites to find talented entertainers that wish to create a profile on our website.

What is the main goal of Sin Cats?

Our goal is not to compete with existing pay per minute platforms, but to provide an alternative venue where adult performers can promote themselves and even work independently, if they wish.

Sin Cats is not a phone sex service in the traditional since. In reviewing this industry we determined that there were several well-established phone sex companies and to create a new one would be redundant. Therefore, we created a truly unique alternative that gives performers the option to work independently or promote their call buttons and links from existing services.

Unlike most platforms, we allow performers to be independent. This means that they can speak directly to the customers, work-out alternate payment options, and even use various forms of communication (including Skype, Google Voice, etc.).

We also have an amazing user-to-user call system that includes audio/video and text chat. However, it is not required that you use our call system. We have included a screenshot on this at the bottom of this interview.

sin_cats_example_profile_pageHere is a list of things you can do on Sin Cats:

1. Give your private email address to customers.

2. Use and post your own billing methods (Amazon Wish Lists, Dwolla, Netspend, Phone Card, etc.). Basically any method you wish to use to transfer funds directly from the customer to you is accepatble.

3. Post or sell your IM contact details (Skype, AIM, etc).

4. Sell pictures and charge customers directly and in any format you wish.

5. Sell videos and charge customers directly and in any format you wish.

6. Sell audio files and charge customers directly and in any format you wish.

7. Post FREE call codes and display them publicly on our call code board (this will get you tons of new customers)

8. Contact customers off-site through any means that is acceptable to both you and the customer (phone, email, Skype, etc.)

9. Use our website for adult dating. (Yes, you can actually hook-up with customers if you want — please note that this can be dangerous and therefore you need to use precaution!)

10. Post payment options to other pay per minute platforms. If you have accounts on other websites and wish for customers to pay and connect with you through those sites you can post call button codes, links etc.

11. Give your private phone number to customers. We have a user-to-user call system option that provides completely secure and anonymous connections from anywhere in the world; however, if you want to give a client your private phone number you are welcome to do so.

12. Text customers from your phone.

13. Use our website for adult networking beyond traditional phone sex and webcam. This includes modeling, content writing, website design, website services (development, adverts, etc).

You can do practically ANYTHING you want on Sin Cats (as long as it is legal of course).

Our goal is to help provide a vibrant and open platform for adult performers to network, make money, and ultimately have far more choices then what is currently available on existing pay per minute phone sites.

We have heard terrible stories of PSOs not receiving payment, losing money from chargebacks, losing 50% (or more of their earnings due to website fees), getting kicked off of a website for sharing off-site contact information, etc. We believe that there needs to be a site that caters to adult performers that wish to be independent, or at least have an additional option from the traditional pay per minute website.

Just to be absolutely clear, operators allowed a profile page or blog space which allows them to link to their own websites, social media, profiles at phone sex sites, etc. right?

Yes! In fact we have included a wide range of amazing features. Each operator has their own profile page, search terms, blog (and blog RSS feed), friend section (to send and receive friend requests), sidebar friend widget that displays who is online and a quick ‘send message’ option), image gallery, video section, audio creation section, media library (where images, videos and audio files can be uploaded, stored and sent to users via email or embedded), private inbox, newsletter system and more.

Sorry if that was a run-on sentence, it’s just that we have so much that is included in the operator section that it is hard to fit into one sentence.

Operators are also free to promote their own websites, call buttons, social media and profile links to other phone sex sites, as you can see in this example profile page (image on the left side of this post).

As mentioned, part two of this Sin Cats interview will be published tomorrow!

An (Unfortunate) Update About Phone Sex Platform MPS (MFT Services)

This is a difficult post to write… Many of you know that I have long been a fan, even a cheerleader, for phone sex platform site MyPhoneSite (MPS); but as I feel obligated to report on realities in the phone sex industry, I must report when things have changed — including, and perhaps especially so, when they change for the worse. Here we go….

Back at the end of January (2015), I was alerted to a rate percentage change at phone sex site MPS. This alert, came not from MPS proper, but rather in the form of a blog comment.

While waiting for Angelica to reply, I searched all my email accounts for such a notice from MPS. I found none. I logged into my MPS accounts to see if there was an alert or notice there. I found none. On February 8, 2016, I sent emails to MPS owner Gary & assistant Samantha, asking about this issue.

Hello again,

Once again I am hearing rumors that MPS is either A) going under or B) changing the operator split. I’ve received no official emails about either of these things, but some girls have stated they have (especially that the split is now or is going to 50/50?!). Please advise.

Lynn

I wasn’t super hopeful (after all, they had not fully responded to several other emails of mine, resulting in unresolved issues), but I had to try.

I received no reply.

In the weeks that followed, I sent additional emails to both of them. I also left multiple voice mail messages — for each of them. I received no reply of any sort. None. Zip. Nada.

In fact, I received no comment at all from anyone from MPS until February 25, 2016, when I had left one last set of voice mails and emails stating that if they did not respond, I would be writing a post without their input.

Gary’s response was this:

Thanks for sending me an email. To answer your questions. A. MPS is not going under. Actually we are quite busy with our new phone system. B. Yes we notified our active website owners that there is a percentage change due to a new charge back policy. We didn’t send this email to you since you are an affiliate on the system.

If there is anything else, let me know.

Within minutes, I sent the following in reply:

Gary, I have a Super User account & numerous profiles, including with this very email address, and I have checked with other PSOs I know who use MPS and NONE OF US received any notice regarding the rate change. Please explain.

His reply:

We try to avoid sending announcements through the system since it sends an email to each email in the system which results in massive duplicates of emails. We sent this email to our active website owners on payroll. We see the commissions you earn as an affiliate, hence we didn’t send you the email. I will have Samantha forward the email to you. Let me know what operators didn’t get the email so I can reach out to them personally.

Thanks,
Gary

Note, there was still no confirmation of the exact percentage split.

I replied with this:

So operators who were not deemed “active” did not receive any notices?? When you log in, there is no notice either. Which means plenty of us have had our rates changed without notice of any sort. Even the rate calculator & percentage split notices are absent. Does this seem ethical to you?

Nearly 30 minutes passed & no response; our conversation had stalled. I sent this:

See, this is the problem. MPS has issues & communication breaks down when things are difficult. Given my recent issues with this pattern, there is little I can do to make those who ask me feel better about how they are treated, what they read online in rip-off reports, etc. This also includes callers who are not comfortable with MPS’s reputation & refuse to make calls with me there. I really wish we could work through an entire conversation about the issues so they could be clarified.

(More on such history here.)

The proverbial crickets chirped in the silence that followed.

But I tried again:

You leave me no choice but to run with the story presenting this situation as it is with little-to-no information from you. It’s really disappointing. To see where things once were, to where they are now… I wish you would reconsider going silent at times like these. It doesn’t help the rumors surrounding MPS, all of MFT Services, and the overall reputation.

Nearly an hour later, Gary responded:

Thank you for bringing up these issues. Due to the issues with the internal mass notification system, we chose to email individual active providers who are actively on payroll. If there are certain operators that need to be contacted, please let me know so I can do so immediately.

We are aware there are issues with support and are looking to resolve those by the end of the 1st quarter. We are looking into setting up a new proactive support system with a support team since Samantha and myself are often swamped with operating issues. If there is any other issues that need to be clarified please let me know.

From my phone, I replied:

This is a continuation of your defense of a poor situation, but is not info requested which is needed to clarify the realities for operators now.

Gary replied:

What info do you feel that is not clarified for the realities for operators? I don’t feel I am in defense when I am just providing our acknowledgement of the communication issues and our plan to resolve issues of lack of support.

I have requested Samantha to forward you the new charge-back information.

You haven’t provided the operators that need to be contacted as well, I am more then willing to reach out and communicate to the providers, but I need to know whom first.

Finally, the information from Samantha arrived. (This would be nearly three hours since Gary had stated he’d requested Samantha to send it to me; nearly 3 weeks since originally requested.) This is supposed to be an (undated) copy of what MPS sent to so-called “active” operators:

Dear Valued MPS Website Owner:

We would like to inform you of a change that will take effect next week.

The Bad News:

Due to ever increasing site-wide operational costs, the numerous customer charge-backs and the extremely high fees that go along with these charge-backs, we will be adjusting all web owner percentage rates to an even 50/50 starting on February 1, 2016.

Operational costs include such things as website hosting fees, website maintenance and upgrades, credit card processing and merchant bank fees, phone system and connection fees, and customer charge-backs and fees.

——————————————————————————————–

The Good News!

When the web owner percentage rates changes on February 1, 2016, ALL calls taken from this point forward, will NOT be subject to charge-backs. This means that NO funds will be removed from ANY provider payouts ever again!

Please note that customers are able to charge-back up to 6 months of transactions. So, if a customer charges backANY calls taken BEFORE February 1, 2016, providers will still be held responsible. But, on August 1, 2016, which is 6 months after the new rate change, no provider will be held responsible for ANY customer charge-backs!

*Exception: Providers will only be held responsible for charge-backs that have resulted from provider/customer fraud*

——————————————————————————————–

Please keep in mind that it does costs a great deal of money to run this entire pay-per-minute phone system and everything that goes on behind the scenes of which you are most likely not aware. Also, remember that you are working on this platform, receiving your MPS websites and own adult business at NO cost to you!

All adult-related businesses are considered high risk and there is no way to prevent customers from doing charge-backs. However, we do the best we can, but unfortunately, this is the cost of doing business in the high risk adult industry.

Warmly,

Samantha

Unhappily noting the rate change had taken effect weeks ago, I took on the task of responding to Gary’s email, collecting the specific questions I had asked (via email and telephone), which neither he nor Samantha had addressed. (Thankfully, I am a very experienced and professional PSO who takes very detailed notes on any and all phone contact I have, including the MPS voicemail messages I’d left.) This is what I sent in response:

Questions which still remain:

You mentioned a “new phone system” – what is it? And is this new system for MPS only, or the other MFT sites?

Related, do the rate percent changes affect the other sites/programs as well?

I *still* do not have proper information on these other sites. After nearly a year of stating you’d get back to me, you referred me to Samantha, who bailed on our appointment; so I have no idea about each of them or their differences. Would anyone care to actually address those? If so, reply with the following (for each site):

URL:
What is special about it, how it differs from MPS:

Are there any plans to notify operators/website owners/super users of these changes, either with an alert when they login, resuming the rate calculators, or anything at all?

I did receive the email from Samantha, thank you. But this is 3 weeks after initial inquiry. For years now you have been mentioning when communication & support issues will be resolved; clearly it is not a priority & it shows. And if I am hearing so much about this, you can bet it is costing MPS business, both on the operator & caller sides. I really, really wish this would be a priority & corrected. It was once what separated MPS from the other platforms in a positive way; now it is being discussed in terms of MPS being, and I quote, “the worst.”

This communication issue when combined with the rate change is very troubling. While the notice mentioned costs of chargebacks, hosting, etc., this is no different than what other platforms offer and they are not changing rates like this. Anything you’d like to state about that?

I have contacted the operators which have contacted me, but so far, none of them have given me permission to send you their contact info. (About half have replied, stating they are more comfortable reading when I post at my site.) If/when I receive permission, I will send you their information.

What do you think the response was?

If you guessed “Nothing,” then you are correct. There was no response.

This despite clearly articulated questions (all which would be within the parameters of either #1 being a registered PSO on their system or, #2 as someone with whom they have done official business with, including interviews, assisting MPS regarding issues with other PSOs & clients, etc.). This silence also in spite of my expressing my own frustration regarding aborted problem solving and other communication issues.

An hour later, I sent an email stating that I was still awaiting word on this.

Still no reply.

The next day, February 26, 2016, I tried one last time. I sent a “Last call” email, noting I would be making my post without any additional information or input from them if they did not respond with the info requested — an outcome they must be more than happy with as I have heard nothing from them whatsoever, and today is February 29, 2016.

To ReCap, Here’s What You Really Need To Know:

* If you are a phone sex operator, “master operator”, website owner, or “super web owner” at MyPhoneSite, your earnings have been cut. As of February 1, 2016, you only receive 50% of calls & store sales. Yes, this is true even if you never received any such email notice, no alert when you logged in, nor other notification of any type.

* If you never received any email notice of the above changes, you are likely not considered to be “active.” (I was not considered “active” in January, 2016, when the notice went out, even though as an operator I had calls at MPS in October, 2015, and had store sales in January of 2016!) This means you are not likely to receive any notices about changes in rate, policy, TOS, etc. going forward.

* Whatever you think of my communications with MPS, or even my personal communication style, it’s clear that MPS is suffering from some major communication issues — primarily that of not caring about communication with members (at least PSOs, anyway). This is a continuing negative trend as documented here. Regarding these communication issues, Gary states they “will resolve those by the end of the 1st quarter.” That would be by the end of March, 2016.

* Phone sex callers who use MPS, if you see your PSOs raising their rates, this is why. Their earnings for services provided have been cut by 10-20 percent.

* The matter of MFT’s other sites/programs dates back to May, 2014, when Gary promised an interview/update regarding all of MPS and other sites belonging to parent company MFT Services (which also has PhoneSexBook.com, PhoneMoreSex.com, and a premium white label service; there may be more, but… well, you’ll see). Roughly eight months later, Gary passed me along to Samantha. We corresponded briefly before that talk too was abandoned; it was restarted in July of 2015, culminating in scheduling an appointment for a telephone conference/meeting which Samantha simply bailed on. Neither she nor Gary expressed any interest in contacting me “when things settle down and you have a working system, can keep appointments, maintain communications, etc.” Which is likely a sign bunch of signs unto themselves.

The Exclusive Phone Sex Secrets Arousr Interview

While many phone sex companies and platform services rely on the PSOs to do the bulk of promotion, Arousr is one company that actively pays for advertising to promote their site, app, and services. Gracie’s already provided a rather detailed review of Arousr, which offers sexting, phone sex calls, and video chats; but I wanted to know more about the company and its philosophy. So via email, I spoke with Patrick Roy, Assistant Marketing Manager at Arousr.

There’s a lot of competition phone sex, sexting, video or cam chat. Why would Arousr want to enter the market?

Arousr is simply the logical progression for our current phone sex business. We did not simply enter the market, we were instrumental in building it. Current Canadian and US laws, as well as, Google’s impact on the Internet in regards to the adult entertainment industry has resulted in blocking access to a global market for phone sex.

Having been in the business for the past twelve years we saw the need for mobile solutions for both our clients and our chat hosts. We built Arousr from the ground up specifically for mobile phones to ensure 100% discretion. This is no ordinary application, you can chat using both direct SMS texting or download and use the App. We think the application itself is the best way because it has special features, but of course you may not want to have an icon on your phone and therefore you can simply SMS your favourite girl. Each chat host has her own designated mobile number which is used for both texting and calling so you can easily just add her to your contacts list. There is no other service like this that enables such direct and easy access to phone sex. We have numbers in USA, Canada, and UK as well as a variety of ways to pay for the services including CC, Interact, (Canada)carrier billing (UK), and prepayment via Western Union (US). Information regarding billing is here.

How is Arousr different? What is Arousr’s brand?

Now, that might be a tough question for some, but I would have to say that Arousr is just totally different and we like it that way.

We are different in many ways.

1) We wanted our brand to be fun, controversial, and help to empower women in the industry to be able to take control of their own lives and sexuality. We feel we have succeeded in doing that not only by hiring chat hosts but we also have a number of women in management.

2) Not only do our chat hosts earn money from chatting, sexting, and video chat, but they also have other options to earn money. We offer a very lucrative mobile affiliate program, in which chat hosts can share links on their own websites and social media platforms and earn money when a customer joins via that link. Our hosts can earn money for entering social media contests and promotions that we have throughout the year as well.

3) Our chat hosts (girls, gay men, and tvts) have the freedom of choosing when to work and how they want to work. Some only want to engage in phone sex, while others like sexting, and some are comfortable in video chat. The freedom to choose what works best for them allows them to create their own business. We do, however, have round-the-clock hosts to ensure the phone is always answered.

4) We really did not like what we were seeing in any of the current applications that were available. They simply do not have control over the users profiles and thus they also have no idea how old some of the users are. Arousr is for Consenting Adults only. All hosts are screened and verified as legal adults. And we keep all proof of age. The internet is bombarded with selfies and you do not have any idea if they are real or fake. Arousr girls profiles are updated frequently so you can be assured they are real girls.

5) Guys like to sext and they want girls to answer them. Searching through hundreds of profiles for girls who will answer back is futile, as most girls do not sext with random strangers. This is a fallacy as I am sure you can attest to.

6) Our video chat is not a “cam” service. This is a ONE on ONE video chat session. The experience is a bit more personal between the chat host and the client. Often our chat hosts are treated more like the clients’ phone girlfriend than a random stranger.

How important is advertising to Arousr’s business model?

Advertising and affiliates make up the bulk of our business model but we would be nothing without the chat hosts that we have. Have you seen them? Enough said.

licked it arousrWith our social media efforts we try to be fresh, fun, and controversial. It is not out of the ordinary to see a post saying something like this “I licked it” Arousr campaign.

What does Arousr do to try to reach potential customers and stay in the minds of current customers?

We offer 100 free credits for anyone who joins Arousr as well as a number of promotional credits for repeat clients via push notifications. Whenever a new host becomes employed with us we encourage our clients to meet them and we stay current on social media to inform them of who is online and what we have to offer.

Our goal is to be the best in the business. Competition is nothing but a means in which to improve yourself. All you have to do is do it better. We are always improving the application and adding new features to it almost every week.

It seems you have to provide cam/video chat sessions &/or photos of yourself to become a chat host. (In other words, no ability to purchase content.) Is this true? And if so, why?

Yes, it’s true. We did not go into this blindly; we knew what we were doing. We wanted to be different. You can find adult websites and porn everywhere and all you will get is some sexy images, but we wanted Arousr to be a more personal connection between the client and the host. You cannot do this if you’re merely an image or populated content. This is a more real personal experience and is great for help with sexual issues, exploring fantasies, or simply engaging in conversation with a real person.

Also, our video chat is not a “cam” service. This is a ONE on ONE video chat session. The experience is a bit more personal between the chat host and the client. Often our chat hosts are treated more like the clients’ phone girlfriend than a random stranger.

If you follow me on Twitter, then you know that I will be increasing the price for advertising at the Phone Sex Tumblr on February 1, 2016. Traffic is up, and now that the Tumblr posts (as well as the Twitter phone sex promo account tweets) also go out on the Rebel Mouse Phone Sex Page, there is even more exposure.

If you want to get in on the current prices, go here and buy now. You may purchase up to three months out to get the savings now; otherwise, you’ll be paying the increased rate on February first.

What You Can Learn About Culture From Sex & Sex Work

I was showing a PSO client how to use Google Trends yesterday when I spotted an interesting trend…

Question: According to Google, what region of the world has the highest probability of searching for femdom?

Answer: Syria.

phonesexfemdomsyria

Not only has there been a growing interest in female domination services, but the increase in such Syrian searches appears to align with rise of the Syrian conflict or Syrian Civil War which began in 2011 with the Arab Spring protests.

Also, this fetish interest has sharply increased — some might even say it has “spiked” — in recent weeks. In fact, a closer look shows that Syria has a lot of related femdom searches — including a number of “Breakout” search terms, such as for feet, fetish, etc. In case you don’t know what “Breakout” means, it is defined by Google as a search term which grew by more than 5000%. Yes, 5000%!

syriafemdomfetish

Part of me wants to go down a deep rabbit hole and research the possible causes and connections. But that’s time, and time is money. So I’m just going to go with what I know about human sexuality and sex work in general:

1.) When human beings are stressed, there is a strong increase in sex drives especially in terms of desires of the kinky and taboo kind. (And what can be more taboo in a culture that demands women submit to men than femdommes?)

2.) Those professing extreme conservatism, be it religious or political, are often doing so to suppress their own taboo urges. (Can you say, “hypocrites”?)

If you, like I, are seeing an increase in such international callers (often most visible to me in the demand for all sorts of religious humiliation sex game requests), this may explain it.
